The Hotel D'Este is located in a convenient location, just a few steps from Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore and within easy walking distance of the station. The main shopping areas and numerous bars and restaurants are also close by and attractions such as the Colosseum can be easily reached. Many of the rooms are quite spacious by Rome standards and are decorated in a traditional style. Some are in need of renovation but are nonetheless clean and comfortable and most bathrooms have been recently redecorated. The hotel boasts a conservatory in which they serve breakfast. A simple hotel which could be a good choice for those on a budget wishing to have a central location.
