Situated in a prime spot right down on the seafront, The Columba Hotel is a much loved Oban landmark. Long regarded as the 'Gateway to the Isles', Oban looks out onto a beautiful landscape of rolling mountains, lochs and islands, and is the perfect staging post for trips to Lismore, Mull, Iona and Fingal's Cave on Staffa. The town has a vibrant nightlife and the Columba Hotel itself is well placed for a visit to Oban's world famous whisky distillery.

The bedrooms, most of which have recently been refurbished, benefit from the Victorians' love of big rooms and high ceilings. With many of the 50 bedrooms boasting splendid views over the harbour, guests will enjoy a real sense of light and space. Every bedroom is non-smoking and benefits from a huge comfortable bed, TV, direct dial phone and a hairdryer. Tea and coffee making facilities are also included as standard.

The dining room of the Alba Restaurant has been fully refurbished, but has kept its relaxed atmosphere and Victorian charm. Featuring excellent service and a range of top quality Scottish dishes, a meal in the Columba Hotel is always a special occasion.
