The best time to find a cheap holiday to Florida is in late August and September. This is because you'll need to avoid the school and summer holidays if you are to pick up a great deal. This is also the rainy season in Florida, so you'll have to be willing to put up with occasional showers, although the temperature will remain warm throughout.

You can save even more money on your Florida holiday by booking a fly-drive. This will include the price of your flight and car rental as one and will save you plenty of money on transportation.

The majority of people visit Florida to see it's many theme parks. From Disney Land to Sea World or it's huge outdoor Wet N' Wild, there are plenty of attractions scattered all over the state. Many of these attractions stay open all through the year, and you'll probably find it more enjoyable slightly after summer when not only will the heat die down a bit, but due to the area not being quite so busy, the queues will shorten too. Afterall, why spend 30 minutes queuing for a 2 minute ride?

Other enjoyable activities and sights to see include the Kennedy Space Centre, driving airboats in the Southern Everglades or riding Jet Skis off the West Coast beaches, plus more!

The weather will still be around 15ºC in August to September, and although you might not get the nice golden tan you'd usually associate with going on holiday - due to the frequent rain clouds, the area is packed with activities for you to go out and do rather than lie around on a beach anyway. Chances are if you want to go to Florida you're there for the attractions anyway, and these stay open for most of the year.

If it's a cheap Florida holiday you're looking for, the best time to go is just after the summer holidays when all of the children have gone back to school. This will get you a cheap deal and also cut down on the waiting times at the various attractions across the state.
