Arabba Introduction

Arabba is an Italian ski resort located close to the border with Austria in the Dolomites. It is a tiny village lying at an altitude of sixteen hundred metres beneath the towering Sella Massif and Portavescovo Mountain. Arabba is a quiet resort with a low key nightlife. Arabba ski holidays offer skiing and boarding for all levels of ability and gives easy access to the Sella Ronda.

Arabba - The Place

Arabba lies in a beautiful valley dominated by rugged mountains. It is one of the highest resorts in the Dolomites and benefits from good snow cover throughout the season. With fifty seven kilometres of slopes, fifteen kilometres of cross country trails and a snow park for boarders, it satisfies all levels of competence. The lifts go to a height of almost three thousand metres and give easy access to the Sella Ronda Circuit with its seemingly limitless pistes. There are ski schools for adults and for children between the ages of five and twelve. There is also a crèche but since places are limited, early booking is recommended. With excellent accommodation from four star hotels to chalets and bed and breakfasts, we have beds catering for most budgets. A small number of restaurants provide delicious cuisine and there are a number of evening activities on offer such as snow mobiling, ice skating and swimming. An Arabba ski holiday will suit enthusiastic skiers who enjoy a relaxed après ski scene.

Arabba nightlife is very low key with evenings spent in hotels or friendly bars. There is a heated outdoor pool and an ice rink for those who wish to continue with the sporting theme.

As expected in such a tiny resort, Arabba has only a few bars and eateries. The small Italian restaurants serve delicious fare. Pasta and pizza feature prominently on menus and rarely disappoint, especially when accompanies by a good Italian red.
